Faraday Monthly Sales Report - December 2004

HSINCHU, TAIWAN – January 7, 2005 -- Faraday Technology Corporation (TAIEX: 3035) (“Faraday”) today announced that revenues for December 2004 totaled NT$464,523 thousand, 48.9% up from the same period last year. Revenues for 2004 whole year reached NT$5,043,288 thousand, 33.9% up from 2003.

A break down of December's revenue includes 75.7% from ASIC, 11.7% from Design Service, and 12.6% from IP.
