Axis Systems Responds to IKOS' Patent Infringement Complaint
Sunnyvale, Calif. - February 9, 2001 - Axis Systems, Inc. learned yesterday that it has been sued for patent infringement by IKOS Systems Inc. Axis has not received a copy of the complaint.
"Since we have not seen the complaint," said Mike Tsai, CEO and founder of Axis, "we cannot comment on the patents or allegations at issue. Axis has filed nine patent applications, three of which have already been granted. Our proprietary technology has made Axis an emerging leader in the industry.
