IRIS-ANPR is a synthesizable IP core that can be used in order to automatically detect car plates within a color image or a video. This IP core accurately detects and Reads car and motorbike plates of various sizes and orientations in different environments and conditions. It uses only on-FPGA memory, provides 8-bit I/O accuracy and is tested for real FPGA implementation using IRIDA Labs specialized test bench.
