90nm OTP Non Volatile Memory for Standard CMOS Logic Process
HEVC/H.265, H.264 Multi format Decoder IP for 4K 60fps
In recent days, the HEVC/H.265 standard is widely adopted and implemented by the surveillance industry accounting for its encoding efficiency to save 40~50% storage size and network bandwidth. However, H.264 standard is still dominating the market especially for legacy and mid to low-end IP cameras. Thereby, there are (co-existing) IP cameras encoding and transmitting video at various qualities, resolutions, and frame rates as in either AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265 format.
At the other end of the security system, NVR products, which store, monitor, and analyze videos coming from multiple IP cameras, are inevitably to support both HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264. Especially, the market demand for applications in NVRs is growing at a fast pace because of its high rate of object detection analysis, object library management, false alarm filtering, and multi-channel support, and start-ups are venturing into the market with their unique AI technology seeking for a new business opportunity.
Coping with a rapidly evolving market trend, WAVE511 provides video decoding for HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 as a single core IP. Moreover, the implemented multi-instance feature enables one WAVE511 for simultaneous and optimized decoding of multiple input streams at various frame rates and qualities.
