Security Protocol Accelerators provide increased performance, ease-of-use, and advanced security features
- DesignWare® Multipurpose Security Protocol Accelerator (Multipurpose SPAcc)
- DesignWare LTE Security Protocol Accelerator (LTE SPAcc)
Complex system-on-chip (SoC) requirements can include security at the MAC layer, VPN layer, and application layer. The DesignWare SPAcc IP addresses these needs with support for the Wi-Fi, MACsec, IPsec, SSL/TLS/DTLS, and SRTP security standards. The SPAcc IP offers high throughput with support for mixed packet size traffic and low latency to preserve quality of service in voice and video applications in single- and multi-core processor architectures. The products are highly customer configurable enabling solutions to be tuned for specific applications providing differentiation in the market. The LTE SPAcc also supports the latest 3GPP/LTE/LTE-Advanced wireless technologies. The LTE SPAcc supports all features available in the Multipurpose SPAcc, in addition to support for wireless cryptographic modes and algorithms: ZUC, SNOW 3G and KASUMI.

Video Demo of the Security Protocol Accelerators provide increased performance, ease-of-use, and advanced security features
See how designers can provision any IoT device using Truphone’s integrated SIM solution and DesignWare tRoot Fx HSMs. This demo shows the Truphone eSIM running an ARC EM Starter Kit board integrated with a commercial mobile device. It demonstrates the main use-cases of GSMA Remote SIM provisioning for IoT and consumer devices. Using Truphone bootstrap connectivity, the demo shows how in-the-field remote device activation is possible for any mobile operator and can completely remove the logistics and costs associated with physical SIM cards.
