Alphacore designs high-performance and radiation-hardened semiconductor IP, custom ASICs, imaging systems, and power management ICs for aerospace, defense, and other critical applications where standard electronics fall short.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Tempe, in Arizona's Silicon Desert. We combine a senior engineering team, seasoned at both startups and multinational companies, with the speed of a small, focused organization.

What We Deliver
• Analog, mixed-signal & RF: gigasample-class data converter, low-jitter PLL, high-speed SerDes, and chiplet interface IP, plus custom ASICs with AI/ML-based calibration. Silicon-proven IP.
• Imaging solutions: CMOS image sensors, digital ROICs, and complete camera systems, from ultra-high-frame-rate and SWIR cameras to MWIR/LWIR readouts, LiDAR receivers, and gigarad-level rad-hard sensors.
• Power management ICs: radiation-hardened DC-DC converters, LDO regulators, solar array interfaces, and battery and photovoltaic monitoring.
• Rugged rad-hard electronics: radiation-hardened versions of our IP, ICs, and systems for harsh environments.

Built For Extreme Environments
Our team includes seasoned Radiation-Hardened-by-Design (RHBD) experts. We harden against total ionizing dose, single-event, and strategic radiation effects, plus extreme temperatures from cryogenic to very high, using process selection, circuit architecture, and RHBD techniques, tested at advanced radiation facilities.
