About intoPIX
intoPIX is a technology company that creates and licenses lightweight video compression, image processing and low-latency video-over-IP technologies. Its products include silicon-proven IP cores for FPGA and ASIC, scalable SDKs from SoC to cloud, and turnkey solutions for OEMs and system integrators.
Every intoPIX technology is built around four core values:
Lossless Quality – visually lossless images, without compromise
Ultra-Low Latency – real-time performance, down to a fraction of a frame
Bandwidth Efficiency – lower data rates and lighter infrastructure
Low Power & Cost Efficiency – minimal logic, power and system cost
The portfolio includes JPEG XS and TicoRAW encoder/decoder IP cores, SMPTE ST 2110-22 and IPMX networking IP, and the Titanium family of development kits and SDKs. intoPIX co-created the JPEG XS standard (ISO/IEC 21122), which earned the company a 2025 Emmy® Award, and it actively contributes to the IPMX and ST 2110 ecosystems. intoPIX also provides JPEG 2000 IP cores.
intoPIX technologies power broadcast, professional AV, digital cinema, machine vision, automotive/ADAS, medical, extended reality, aerospace, defense and security applications. Founded in 2006 as a spin-off of UCLouvain, intoPIX is headquartered in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
