About Rapid Flex

Rapid Flex is a China-based provider of embedded FPGA (eFPGA) IP and design automation software, helping chipmakers bring programmable, real-time hardware into their MCU and SoC products.

Our Alkaid® eFPGA IP family is optimized for timing-critical control tasks, including PWM management, ADC post-processing, high-speed FOC current loops and LVDS/protocol conversion. By moving these functions from software or external FPGAs into on-chip programmable logic, customers achieve sub-microsecond control-loop response while using only a fraction of the silicon area of a discrete FPGA, lowering system cost and improving reliability. Our eFPGA IP is silicon-proven on SMIC, TSMC and HHGrace processes.

Rapid Flex's ArkAngel® full-stack toolchain covers the complete flow, from fabric architecture exploration, netlist generation and automated layout to end-user RTL-to-bitstream design. Its automation shortens fabric layout iteration from months to about 24 hours and enables fast migration across process nodes, so eFPGA development keeps pace with SoC schedules.

Rapid Flex serves applications in motor control and servo drives, digital power and inverters, robotic joints, and server power management, enabling customers to deliver flexible, field-upgradable chips faster.
