The SPD stores essential parameters such as capacity, speed, timing configuration, and voltage levels. Upon system power-up, the host controller must first read the SPD data to ensure proper memory initialization and stable operation. Therefore, the storage IP underpinning the SPD must deliver exceptional data reliability and long-term stability.
