Hsinchu Taiwan --  July 8, 2025 -- PUFsecurity Corporation today announces that its proprietary post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms have officially passed the Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program (CAVP) by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), with validation ID #39639. The certified implementations include FIPS 203 (ML-KEM) and FIPS 204 (ML-DSA), two of the key post-quantum standards.

This milestone confirms PUFsecurity’s readiness to support the upcoming wave of quantum-resilient deployments with validated, deployable PQC IPs. These IPs provide dual-stack cryptography, supporting both classical and post-quantum schemes, making them ideal for SoC designers looking to future-proof their architectures.

PUFpqc: End-to-End Quantum-Safe Security Architecture

PUFpqc is PUFsecurity’s flagship security architecture for the post-quantum era. It integrates NeoPUF, PUFtrng, high-performance PQC accelerators, and advanced memory architectures to fully support NIST PQC standards. With CAVP-certified implementations, PUFpqc enables secure boot, digital signatures, key exchange, and VPNs, scaling from automotive MCUs to IoT devices.

NeoPUF generates a unique inborn hardware key for each chip, forming the root of trust for PQC key systems. PUFtrng provides low-power, high-quality entropy sources, compliant with NIST SP 800-90 standards, ideal for protocols like TLS 1.3 or PQ-VPN requiring frequent key refresh.

To optimize performance, PUFpqc employs near-memory computing, co-locating PQC logic near high-speed SoC memory to reduce latency and power consumption, making it ideal for ML-KEM operations in resource-constrained or real-time environments.

CAVP Certification: Assurance of Security and Compliance

NIST CAVP certification is a globally recognized benchmark that verifies algorithm correctness and tool compatibility, providing a foundation for future FIPS 140 module certifications. PUFsecurity’s successful certification reinforces customer confidence and regulatory compliance in adopting quantum-resistant encryption.

Leading the Quantum Transition

Following NIST’s official release of FIPS 203 and FIPS 204 in 2024, the global transition window (2025–2030) has begun. PUFsecurity’s validated PQC-ready solutions are positioned to lead this shift, aligning with migration guidance from NSA, ENISA, and ETSI to secure high-risk infrastructure through dual-stack and hybrid deployments.
