Intel is undergoing another stage of large-scale production restructuring. Despite a number of difficulties that it has to face on the way to its goal, the once undisputed leader of the semiconductor industry is striving to restore its positions and open up new niches for itself. In the history of chip manufacturing, Intel has traditionally been an innovator, setting the pace of technological development. However, due to delays in mastering new technological processes, the company had to accept the unusual role of a technological pursuer. Will the focus on modernization of production return Intel to the higher technological league? Will the introduction of the Intel 18A technological process be a sufficient prerequisite for this?
