India has achieved a significant milestone in its semiconductor journey with the launch of DHRUV64, the country’s first fully indigenous 64-bit dual-core microprocessor operating at 1.0 GHz. Developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) under the Microprocessor Development Programme (MDP), this achievement reinforces India’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) in critical technology sectors.
