T2M Presents TGE100 RISC-V CPU Core: Ultra-Low-Power Computing for Area-Constrained IoT and MCU Platforms

Jan. 12, 2026 –

T2M, a global semiconductor IP provider and ASIC services partner, today announced the immediate availability of the TGE100, an extremely low power, ultra-compact, production-proven 32-bit RISC-V microprocessor core designed for embedded microcontroller applications SOC’s. Featuring a 2-stage pipeline, supports machine mode, configurable multiplier/divider, and support for RV32 (E/I)(M)(C/Zc) ISA extensions, the TGE100 delivers performance comparable to Cortex-M0 while achieving exceptional energy efficiency and area savings.

Like the broader RISC-V IP portfolio showcased at CES 2026, the TGE100 is supported by GCC toolchains, debuggers, MCU SDKs, and a flexible licensing model—enabling rapid integration and reduced time-to-market. It is suitable for area-sensitive IoT devices and microcontrollers, such as smart cards, smart grids, and wireless sensor networks.

The TGE100 complements T2M’s full range of RISC-V IP cores portfolio, which spans ultra-low-power MCU-class designs to high-performance embedded processors comparable to Cortex-M0 through Cortex-A55. With both 32-bit and 64-bit CPUs, optional accelerators, and safety-ready cores (ASIL-B/D), the portfolio empowers customers to develop differentiated silicon across automotive, industrial, consumer, medical, and edge-AI markets.

About Us: T2M is a trusted global provider of semiconductor IP cores and ASIC Services, empowering accelerated development across various applications. In addition to that, T2M ‘s broad silicon IP Core Portfolio includes Cellular IPS (GNSS, SDR, 5G Nb-IOT, NTN), BT/BLE (Controller and RF) IPs and WIFI RF IPs, and Interface IP’s, available in major Fabs in process geometries. They can also be ported to other foundries and leading-edge process nodes on request.
