In less than a month, DCD-SEMI will take part in SEMICON Korea 2026, the largest semiconductor and technology trade show in the Republic of Korea. The event gathers key players from the global semiconductor ecosystem and underlines South Korea’s role as one of the world’s most advanced semiconductor markets.
The Republic of Korea ranks as Asia’s 4th largest and the world’s 12th largest economy and remains a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing. In 2023, it maintained its position as the world’s second-largest semiconductor producer for the 11th consecutive year, holding a 13.2% share of the global semiconductor market. The sector continues to expand rapidly, with semiconductor exports reaching a record €12.5 billion in April 2024, marking eight consecutive months of year-on-year growth.
SEMICON Korea serves as a strategic meeting point for IP vendors, chip designers, foundries, equipment manufacturers, and technology innovators from around the world. The 2026 edition will once again showcase the latest semiconductor technologies and create opportunities for international collaboration across the entire value chain.
