Qualitas Semiconductor Secures Strategic IP Licensing Agreement for MIPI Solutions

SEOUL, South Korea – QUALITAS SEMICONDUCTOR CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Qualitas") (KOSDAQ: 432720), a leading provider of high-speed interconnect IP solutions, announced today that it has signed an IP licensing agreement with a Korea-based ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) design solution provider.

Under the agreement, Qualitas will deliver an integrated interface solution combining its 8nm process-based MIPI D-PHY TX/RX PHY IP with its MIPI CSI-2 TX/RX Controller IP. Moving beyond the traditional standalone PHY IP model, the company is expanding its portfolio to include optimized sub-system solutions that integrate both PHYs and controllers, maximizing technical synergy.

This integrated solution is specifically engineered to optimize the interface between the PHY and controller, enhancing signal transmission efficiency while significantly reducing system design complexity for customers. In addition, by leveraging MIPI IP solutions already proven in mass production across multiple customer deployments, end-users can minimize development risk and accelerate time-to-market.

As the Physical AI market—where AI systems operate in real-world environments such as robotics, autonomous driving, and smart factories—continues to grow rapidly, high-performance vision interfaces are becoming increasingly critical. This latest MIPI IP supply underscores Qualitas’s expanding licensing momentum in the Physical AI domain.
