TES Launches its µEngine: Parallel CPU System for Deterministic Real-Time HDL Applications

February 16, 2026 -

Utilizing its µEngine concept, TES provides a processor tailored precisely to your needs as it is capable of transferring complex digital circuit tasks to software-executable mini-computer structures.

Each complex task is assigned to a dedicated mini-computer (µEngine), specifically optimized for that workload. This optimization enables highly efficient, deterministic, and real-time processing.

In one RAISE system, multiple diverse µEngines operate in parallel, communicating seamlessly while sharing resources to maximize scalability.

Key Benefits

  • Faster development and simplified adjustments – even after tape-out

  • Reduced costs and shorter time-to-market

  • Deterministic timing without unpredictable interrupts

  • Single-thread execution per µEngine, multi-threading via RAISE

  • Pre-simulation for maximum planning accuracy

Use Cases

  • Complex state-machines

  • Digital filters

  • Protocol converters

  • Hardware accelerators

  • Specialized embedded microcontrollers

  • Specialized parallel processor structures

  • Feedback loop controllers (PD, PI, PID)

  • Brushless DC motor controllers
