June 11, 2026 -

Seoul, South Korea & Hamburg, Germany --  BOS Semiconductors, a fabless semiconductor company developing Physical AI computing platforms and AI semiconductor solutions for automotive, robotics, and intelligent machines, today announced the appointment of Dr. Dirk Reimer as Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development EMEA. In this role, Dr. Reimer leads the company’s sales, strategic partnerships, and business development across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

With over 20 years of executive leadership in the global automotive semiconductor and software ecosystems, Dr. Reimer has a proven track record of bridging advanced technology innovation with rigorous automotive OEM standards. He specializes in complex System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs), and secure, domain-crossing vehicle platforms. Throughout his career, he has built robust supply chain partnerships and secured strategic, high-volume design wins with the world’s leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, including Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Bosch.

Prior to joining BOS Semiconductors, Dr. Reimer held various senior executive roles, leading P&Ls and driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth. Most recently, as Head of EMEA Automotive Tier-1 Sales at NXP Semiconductors, he led strategic customer engagements across the European automotive market. Previously, he served as CEO of Cymotive Technologies, a Volkswagen-backed cybersecurity company, where he successfully transformed a service-based startup into a scalable and profitable product platform supplier. As Vice President & GM at Telit Wireless Solutions, he built the global automotive module business from the ground up, establishing crucial OEM partnerships and R&D centers across Europe and Asia.

Dr. Reimer has also played a role in shaping the European automotive industry through participation in standardization and regulatory activities, including contributions to the adoption of the EU eCall mandate.

BOS Semiconductors is expanding beyond automotive applications into broader Physical AI markets, including robotics, autonomous machines, industrial AI, and intelligent edge computing. The company believes the convergence of AI accelerators, advanced semiconductors, and software-defined platforms will drive the next generation of Physical AI innovation. Through this appointment, BOS Semiconductors aims to accelerate customer engagement and strategic partnerships across Europe while strengthening the global commercialization of its next-generation computing platforms and automotive AI solutions.

“Dirk brings deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of business development across the automotive semiconductor and emerging Physical AI markets, particularly in Europe,” said Jason Chae, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President at BOS Semiconductors. “His appointment marks an important milestone in our global growth strategy, and we are confident that he will play a key role in expanding our customer base and partner ecosystem throughout the EMEA region.”

“European OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers are at a turning point in how they source AI compute for the software-defined vehicle. BOS Semiconductors combines the right architecture and partnerships to serve that shift, and I look forward to building those relationships across the region.” said Dr. Dirk Reimer, Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development EMEA at BOS Semiconductors.

Dr. Reimer holds a Ph.D. in Physics (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Hamburg, with a strong academic background in solid-state physics and semiconductor technology.
