ICTK said on June 9 that it had been selected as the lead organization for a 7 billion-won national research and development project for a security system-on-chip (SoC).
The project involves implementing international standard post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and Korea's domestic quantum-resistant cryptography standard (KpqC) into an SoC, as well as obtaining Korea Cryptographic Module Validation Program (KCMVP) certification. The project is overseen by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and managed by the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT). It will run for about four years from April this year through December 2029.
