CoAsia SEMI to develop two IoT chips in rare shift from LG's reliance on TSMC

CoAsia SEMI said on Aug. 31 that it will participate with LG Electronics in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources-led "K-On-Device AI Semiconductor Technology Development" project.

CoAsia SEMI will develop two Internet of Things (IoT) chips for LG Electronics' artificial intelligence (AI) home products. The project runs from July through December 2030, with development costs totaling 31 billion won.
