Copenhagen, Denmark – Comcores, a Denmark-based leading provider of Ethernet IP and security solutions, and AVANT Technology Inc., headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, today announced a partnership that gives customers in China and Taiwan access to a local team serving as their point of contact for Comcores’ IP portfolio.
The partnership brings together two complementary strengths: Comcores’ expertise in Ethernet, Ethernet switching, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and security IP, and AVANT’s nearly three decades of experience supporting companies across the region and deep relationships within the semiconductor industry. Through the collaboration, customers will have greater access to Comcore’s IP portfolio, along with local sales and application engineering support.
The partnership comes at a time when Ethernet is becoming an increasingly important connectivity technology across a broad range of semiconductor applications, including automotive and industrial systems. In automotive, the move toward software-defined vehicles and zonal architectures is driving the adoption of Ethernet and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) to enable high-bandwidth, deterministic in-vehicle communication. China’s position as the world’s largest electric vehicle market, combined with Taiwan’s significant semiconductor ecosystem, makes the region a key market for this transition.
