Synopsys is expanding its semiconductor design platform following its acquisition of Ansys, targeting further growth in South Korea’s semiconductor market.
Shankar Krishnamoorthy, chief product development officer (CPDO) at Synopsys, told a press conference at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam on Sept. 8 that the company will “accelerate technological innovation in South Korea through agentic artificial intelligence (AI), multiphysics-based design and a silicon-to-systems integrated engineering approach.”
