The artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor competition is expanding into an ecosystem competition that encompasses not only advanced processes but also design, IP, and packaging. This is the background behind Samsung Electronics gathering domestic customers and partner companies in one place to share its next-generation foundry technology roadmap and AI semiconductor cooperation strategy.
Samsung Electronics held the ‘SAFE Forum 2026’ at its Seocho building in Seoul on July 1 and unveiled plans to expand cooperation in the AI semiconductor ecosystem and its next-generation foundry technology strategy. SAFE is Samsung Electronics’ foundry ecosystem program.
