HILLSBORO, Ore. - Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ:LSCC) announced a collaboration with Arm to develop secure control and management solutions for AI infrastructure, according to a press release statement.
The partnership combines Arm AGI CPU server platforms with Lattice FPGAs and AMI firmware to provide security, manageability, connectivity, and flexibility for AI data center infrastructure. In the server platforms, Lattice FPGAs function alongside the CPU and baseboard management controller, with AMI firmware handling platform boot and management capabilities.
The Lattice FPGAs serve as companion chips that provide secure control and management capabilities, enabling platform trust, connectivity, and infrastructure adaptability. The technology supports Open Compute Project-compliant connectivity between the Host Processor Module and Datacenter Secure Control Module through the LVDS Tunneling Protocol and Interface, a standardized interface designed to simplify platform integration and support scalable AI infrastructure.
