Recognized as a Key AI Infrastructure Company for the Era of Vehicles, Robotics, and On-device AI
BOS Semiconductors has been selected for the “AI100 2026” announced by global market intelligence and investment research firm CB Insights. As a leading Physical AI and Automotive AI semiconductor fabless company, BOS Semiconductors has been recognized for its global competitiveness in the rapidly emerging Physical AI sector — one of the next major frontiers of the AI industry.
The CB Insights AI100 is one of the world’s most prestigious rankings of promising AI companies, published annually by CB Insights. The list is compiled through a comprehensive evaluation of more than 40,000 AI companies worldwide, based on investment activity, investor quality, industry partnerships, hiring trends, and proprietary indicators such as the “Mosaic Score,” which measures growth potential, and the “Commercial Maturity Score,” which evaluates commercialization readiness.
Unlike rankings based on public voting or sponsorship evaluations, the AI100 is recognized for its strong credibility within the global AI industry due to CB Insights’ proprietary database, independent research methodology, analyst briefings submitted by companies, and interviews with software buyers. Previous AI100 honorees include global AI leaders such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity, making the list widely regarded as a benchmark for identifying the next generation of AI leaders.
Notably, this year’s AI100 introduced “Physical AI,” “Autonomous Hardware,” and “Enabling Chips” as independent categories for the first time. CB Insights noted that the AI industry is rapidly evolving beyond generative AI and data-center-centric architectures toward the era of “Physical AI,” where AI operates in real time within vehicles, robotics, and autonomous systems.
Only 11 companies worldwide were selected in the Physical AI category of this year’s AI100, underscoring the exclusivity and strategic importance of the sector. BOS Semiconductors’ inclusion highlights its global competitiveness in Automotive AI semiconductors and AI compute platform technologies.
BOS Semiconductors has been advancing next-generation AI compute platform strategies focused on Automotive AI, Edge AI, SDV (Software Defined Vehicle), and On-device AI. In particular, its AI Box and Eagle-N platform strategy, unveiled at CES 2026, drew industry attention for offering a practical approach that enables customers to expand AI functionality while maintaining existing vehicle systems.
This recognition is especially meaningful as it signals BOS Semiconductors’ emergence as a next-generation AI compute company at the center of the global AI industry transition. While many AI companies continue to focus primarily on generative AI services and software applications, BOS Semiconductors has differentiated itself as a key AI infrastructure company enabling real-time AI capabilities directly inside vehicles and intelligent devices
The significance of the recognition is further amplified by the inclusion of several globally recognized unicorn companies in AI and robotics on this year’s AI100 list, positioning BOS Semiconductors among the next generation of global AI infrastructure innovators.
“This recognition from CB Insights AI100 validates not only BOS Semiconductors’ technology leadership, but also our capability to deliver real-world AI solutions and our long-term growth potential in the global market,” said Jason Chae, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President at BOS Semiconductors. “As the AI industry rapidly shifts toward the Physical AI era, BOS Semiconductors will continue to strengthen its position as a global AI compute platform company in Automotive AI and On-device AI.”
BOS Semiconductors continues to accelerate its expansion into the global Physical AI and Automotive AI semiconductor markets through its advanced AI semiconductor technologies and compute platform solutions.
