Shanghai, China — Brite Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (BriteSemi, 688691), a leading provider of custom ASIC and IP solutions, today announced a new analog IP. The company officially launched a dual-version high-performance differential SAR ADC IP developed on 28nm CMOS process, supporting 1.8V and 2.5V operating voltages. Both IPs have completed full-process tape-out verification and passed functional and performance testing, delivering reliable and low-power IP for communication signal chain applications. They can be flexibly adapted to different application scenarios, such as 5G/6G RF transceivers, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth basebands, software-defined radios, optical communications, communication SoCs, wireless gateways, and edge AI devices.
The 12-bit, 125Msps SAR ADC IPs deliver an ENOB ≥ 10.5 bit, SFDR ≥ 82.5 dB, and THD≤ ‑77.2 dB. Featuring a differential input design with high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR), the IPs achieve an excellent anti‑interference performance, enabling precise capture of high-speed communication signals and reduced system bit error rates to meet signal acquisition requirements of communication transceivers. The key technical advantages are listed below:
These 28nm SAR ADC IPs are developed for high-speed signal chain scenarios including 5G/6G RF transceivers, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth basebands, software-defined radios and optical communications, enabling seamless integration into communication SoCs, wireless gateways and edge AI terminals. Leveraging the core strengths of low power consumption, small die area and flexible scalability, together with broad multi‑scenario compatibility, it provides customers with high-performance, low-risk and highly adaptable analog IP to accelerate signal chain technology iteration and mass production of new products.
As an iterative achievement of Brite Semiconductor in analog IP development, the newly‑released dual‑version SAR ADC IP demonstrates the company’s capabilities in area and power‑consumption optimization at 28nm process. Leveraging its one‑stop custom design service, Brite Semiconductor will keep expanding its portfolio of premium IPs and platforms.
