Biography
Jauher Zaidi brings serial entrepreneurship, innovation and development experience having founded several startups in various segments of the high-tech industry including semiconductor/ Palmchip (Storage group acquired by Mentor). Helped start eSilicon (Fast path to Silicon), Sandforce (SSD company, Acquired by LSI Logic), software/Aspirant (internet storage company), Netvinci (software for Machine Vision) and Moobila (a cloud based mobile security application). Jauher volunteers for MIT entrepreneur program to help startups globally, and he is already an advisor to several startup companies. Before founding Netvinci, he was founder and CEO of Palmchip where several industry impacting standards and architectures were developed including AMBA, CoreFrame for MIPS and ARM CPUs. Mr. Zaidi has held management positions in several companies including Quantum Corporation, Unisys, Amdahl and Samsung. Mr. Zaidi received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Pacific States University in Los Angeles, California. He has written and presented a number of articles and papers on SoC design and verification, and is a recognized expert and game changer in the area of SoC development and embedded devices, and holds 7 patents. Jauher is passionate about improving the education and health standards by making technologies available to human beings worldwide.
