videantis moves into new office to support growth
Hannover, Germany -- May 9th, 2018 – videantis GmbH, a leading supplier of deep learning and computer vision semiconductor solutions, today announced it has moved into a new office space to accommodate its rapid growth and future expansion plans.
At CES in Las Vegas earlier in the year, videantis announced its new v-MP6000UDX visual processing architecture that runs deep learning algorithms at high performance levels with very low power consumption. In September last year videantis closed a round of growth funding and in November won its third Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award.
“The last twelve months we’ve seen a lot of success at videantis. We added several automotive customers, addressing ADAS as well as autonomous driving, and expanded further into exciting new high-growth consumer application areas like AR/VR,” says Hans-Joachim Stolberg, CEO at videantis. “We’re beating hard-wired deep learning solutions in power and performance, while remaining fully programmable. This allows our customers to run artificial intelligence applications together with classical computer vision, image processing, and compression, all on a single compute platform that does not compromise on power consumption and performance. Our move into the much larger office reflects the market demand for our solutions and our increase in staff.”
videantis currently has about 15 open positions in the fields of deep learning, embedded vision, and development tools and is looking to expand its solution architecting and sales staff.
The new office has good connections to public transit, the Hannover airport, and major highways and remains close to Hannover’s Leibniz University, a key source of new talent.
The new office address:
videantis GmbH
Rotermundstraße 11
30165 Hannover
Germany
The company’s telephone numbers will remain the same.
