LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a highly optimized mobile broadband OFDMA solution designed from the ground up to deliver high-speed broadband data, voice (VoIP), and Multimedia services. LTE complements existing 3G solutions by leveraging wider bandwidths (up to 20MHz), and advanced antenna techniques (MIMO, SDMA and Beam forming). LTE and UMB have similar features and are expected to have similar performance.
