Elliptic Semiconductor licenses its multi-DRM security solution to MtekVision
OTTAWA, Canada and SEOUL, Korea -- March 30, 2006 - Elliptic Semiconductor today announced that MtekVision has selected Elliptic's multi- DRM security cores for use in its Mobile Multimedia Platform system-on-chip (SoC). MtekVision is a key provider of multi-media SoCs that have gained broad market acceptance. Several different designs have been developed including Windows Mobile DRM from Microsoft and OMA 2.0 from the Open Mobile Alliance. Wireless operators are able to select from either of these technologies when they choose cell phones based on the MtekVision's new Mobile Multimedia Platform.
