Gaisler Research receives order for the Fault Tolerant LEON3 processor implemented in an Actel RTAX2000 FPGA from ACER in Taiwan
"This announcements show that our LEON3-FT-RTAX product offering is gaining acceptance in the space industry. We are in discussions with several more companies and organisations that are considering using LEON3-FT-RTAX in their space missions", says Per Danielsson the CEO of Gaisler Research AB.
ARGO
ARGO is the first Taiwan made satellite totally planned and designed by the National Space Organization (NSPO). NSPO is fully accountable for the spacecraft design, development, simulation, analysis, integration, and test activities in all aspects. The newly developed LEON3-FT CPU will be implemented in the on-board computer, a core satellite component. This is the first advanced satellite that uses this new LEON3-FT CPU associated with all the key components and software for the satellite power, data and command processing, and flight control.
